Company History
XPRESSTRADE'S daily operations are managed by a dedicated, experienced group of futures industry professionals and highly skilled computer programmers and network specialists. Four of five XPRESSTRADE principals are actively engaged in day-to-day affairs and bring to the company a combined 75+ years futures industry experience as floor brokers, pit traders, exchange directors, and brokerage firm owners/managers. In 1996, we sensed that the futures business had reached a critical moment in its evolution: Futures traders worldwide were becoming more sophisticated. You desired control over your finances and personal affairs. You wanted to be self-directed consumers, you were looking to call your own shots, and you wanted responsibility for your own decisions. You'd become extremely value-conscious and were no longer willing to pay high commission rates in exchange for access to information that brokers selectively controlled. And as you became increasingly familiar and comfortable with technology, you were looking to use it in ways which would give you increased control, convenience, and cost-savings. In March 1997, when XPRESSTRADE opened to the public, we were one of the firstif not the firstfutures brokerage firms to realize that the Internet could serve as the foundation of a totally electronic futures broker capable of satisfying the needs and preferences of today's traders. Online technology would allow us to deliver tools and information never available before directly to your home and office at an unbeatable value.
